  • Ground turkey (or beef if you prefer)

These turkey Philly cheesesteak sliders are incredibly simple to make, which is why they’ve become a go-to meal in my household. Here’s how to do it:

Prep Your Veggies and Cook the Ground Turkey:
Dice your onion, green pepper, and mushrooms, then sauté them in a large pan. I prefer using cast iron but use whatever pan works for you. Once the veggies start to soften, add in your ground turkey. Season with salt and pepper and cook until the turkey is fully browned and cooked through.

Add Flavor:
Stir in about 1 tablespoon of ketchup and 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce. Adjust the amounts based on your taste preferences. I love the rich, savory flavor the Worcestershire adds to the meat and vegetables.

Prepare Your Rolls:
While your mixture simmers, preheat your oven to 350°F. Place the bottom halves of your rolls in an oven-safe dish. Spoon the ground turkey Philly cheesesteak mixture over the rolls and top with slices of cheese. Bake for 5-7 minutes, just until the cheese is melted and gooey.

Final Touch:
Once the cheese is melted, place the tops of the rolls back on and bake for another 5 minutes or until the tops are golden brown. Your Philly cheesesteak with ground turkey sliders are now ready to serve!

Oh YUMMY! I love Philly cheesesteaks. Can't find any decent ones here in Australia so I always end up making them at home. I haven't tried making them with turkey before so I'm excited to give your recipe a go!
